Reagents in a refill pack for the TESTOVAL Ammonium Colour Comparison Kit, for rapid manual analysis of the ammonium content in water within a concentration range of 0 to 10 mg/l NH4+. The Testoval Ammonium Reagent Refill Pack contains the appropriate reagents for the Testoval Ammonium Test Kit. The existing kit can be easily refilled with these reagents. Refilling reagents – for measuring the ammonium content The refill pack contains the reagents required to carry out the ammonium tests. The reagents react with water to produce a colour, which can then be read off the scale. They are designed to work with the test kit, ensuring that the measurement results remain precise, reliable and comparable.
Colour comparison kit for the rapid manual analysis of the ammonium content in water within a concentration range of 0 to 10 mg/l NH4+. The Testoval Ammonium Test Kit is a colour comparison kit that allows the ammonium content in water to be determined visually by comparing colours. This enables you to quickly determine how much ammonium is present in the water without the need for electronic measuring devices. How does the Ammonium Test Kit work? The test kit operates on the colour comparison principle. A defined amount of water is placed in a measuring tube, and the appropriate reagents are added. You then pour this mixture into a cuvette. Insert the cuvette into the ammonium colour comparison device. After a measurement time of approximately four minutes, a colour develops which is compared with the scale on the device. The more intense the colour, the higher the ammonium content. Individual values of 0.1 mg/l, 0.5 mg/l, 1 mg/l, 2.5 mg/l, 5 mg/l and 10 mg/l can be read directly from the visual colour comparison. Why is the test kit practical? The Testoval Ammonium Test Kit makes checking the ammonium content in water quick and easy. Everything needed for testing is included in the kit. The measurements provide reliable results within a few minutes and are suitable for regular quick checks in swimming pools, wells or water treatment plants. The kit allows you to carry out approximately 70 analyses.
