JUMO diraVIEW 108 – Digital indicator with analog output (Type: 701513/8-0300-23/000)
The temperature measuring device JUMO diraVIEW 108 can record and transmit measured values thanks to its integrated analog output. In addition to displaying values, the device also performs an important function within signal processing.
The JUMO diraVIEW 108 is a versatile digital indicator in a 96 × 48 mm landscape format for recording, displaying, and further processing process variables. Thanks to the universal analog input, the device can be flexibly used for different signal types and is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
A particular advantage of this version is the integrated analog output. This allows recorded measured values not only to be displayed locally but also to be transmitted to higher-level systems such as PLCs or control systems.
The measured values are clearly displayed via two 18-segment LCD displays. Additional display elements provide information about the status of the outputs as well as active functions such as timers or limit value monitoring. Operation is carried out via a front-mounted membrane keypad with four buttons. Thanks to IP65 protection, the device is suitable for use in industrial environments.
Equipment of this device variant
- 1 universal analog input
- 2 digital inputs (digital input 1 can alternatively be used as a logic output)
- 2 relay outputs (normally open contacts)
- 1 logic output 0/14 V (alternative to digital input 1)
- 1 analog output (configurable)
- Power supply: AC 110–240 V (+10 / -15 %), 48–63 Hz
- Display via 2 × 18-segment LCD
- Installation format: 96 × 48 mm (landscape format)
Functions and features
The diraVIEW 108 offers extensive functions for monitoring, evaluating, and transmitting measured values:
- Min./max. value display and storage
- Hold function to freeze measured values
- Tare function, also suitable for weighing applications
- Timer function for implementing time-dependent processes
- Monitoring of up to 4 limit values with versatile alarm functions
Thanks to the integrated analog output, measured values can also be continuously transmitted to external systems.
Signal processing & flexibility
All signals are internally managed via selectors. This allows input and output signals to be flexibly assigned and individually adapted to various applications.
In addition to local processing, the analog output enables the transmission of measured values to other devices or controllers within a system.
Interfaces & configuration
The device features a USB device interface for connection to a PC. Parameterization is carried out via the setup program, which allows:
- Creation and transfer of settings
- Reading and saving of device data
- Automatic generation of wiring diagrams
During configuration, the device is powered via the USB interface.
Optional interfaces such as RS485 or Ethernet are available to integrate the device into higher-level systems.
