HORIBA Sodium (Na⁺) Replacement Electrodes – Permanently Reliable Measurement Values for Stable Treatment Processes
When systems run stably but measurement values do not – replace and buy your Horiba electrode online now
In water treatment, sodium is often used as an indicator of process conditions, for example in softening or ion exchange processes. When the system operates consistently but the measurement values are no longer plausible, the electrode is often the cause.
Precise control for technical applications
Sodium measurements are used to detect changes in the system at an early stage and to control processes effectively. To maintain this function, the electrode must operate reliably and selectively.
HORIBA replacement electrodes enable fast restoration of measurement quality and ensure stable, reproducible results.
Typical signs that replacement is needed
-
Deviations despite stable processes
Measurement values change even though the system operates unchanged. This makes process monitoring more difficult. -
Unclear trends in measurement progression
Changes can no longer be interpreted clearly and lead to uncertainty in evaluation. -
Reduced measurement stability
The electrode no longer delivers consistent results and affects the reliability of the measurement.
Typical application areas
- Monitoring of water treatment systems
- Control of ion exchange processes
- Industrial and process applications
- Laboratory and on-site measurements
Your advantages
- Reliable control of process conditions
- Stable and reproducible measurement results
- Easy integration into existing systems
Ensure that your measurement values once again reflect the actual process and maintain reliable control over your systems.

HORIBA LAQUAtwin Pocket Tester Sensors – Quick, Accurate, and Reliable The HORIBA LAQUAtwin Pocket Tester series enables fast and precise on-site measurement of water quality parameters. To ensure consistently reliable results, it is essential to check the sensors regularly and replace them when necessary. These replacement sensors are specially designed for the HORIBA LAQUAtwin series and are available in a wide range of variants for different measurements: pH, conductivity, salinity, redox (ORP), and ion-selective sensors for sodium, potassium, nitrate, calcium, and fluoride. Each sensor is engineered for maximum user-friendliness and accuracy—qualities that have made HORIBA a global leader in water quality testing. Benefits of HORIBA Replacement Sensors: Easy replacement – Simple sensor exchange allows quick resumption of measurements. High accuracy – Ensures precise and reliable measurement results. Wide application range – Different sensors available for various water quality parameters. Durability – Designed for long service life, even under demanding conditions.Sensor Replacement InstructionsRemoving the sensor: Switch off the tester. Lift the sensor tip, then slide it slightly away from the device. Pull the sensor out completely. Attaching the sensor: Ensure the tester is switched off. Check that the waterproof seal is clean and intact. Press the sensor into the device so that hook "A" on the tester fits into hole "a" on the sensor tongue. Make sure the seal is not twisted. Important: After replacement, follow the instructions in your tester’s user manual to resume operation. Calibration—and in some cases conditioning—may be required. (Calibration instructions are included with the product.) FAQ – Checking Sensor WearQ: How can I tell if my sensor is worn out? A: Perform a 2-point calibration. If a calibration error occurs, this indicates sensor deterioration and the sensor should be replaced.Regular inspection and timely replacement of sensors will ensure the long-term accuracy, reliability, and high quality of your HORIBA LAQUAtwin Pocket Tester measurements.
