Product information "JUMO ecoLine glass shaft pH electrode with KCL container, S8 Pg13.5 screw head"

The electrode measures in the pH range from 0 to 12, and for short periods up to pH 14. It is equipped with the low-ohmic JUMO UW glass, which supports fast and stable measurement results.

JUMO ecoLine glass shaft pH electrode with KCL container, S8 Pg13.5 screw head – type key: 201005/51-18-22-0000-00-120/052, part no.: 00402273

This version of the JUMO ecoLine pH electrode is designed for reliable pH measurements in general aqueous media and offers a convincing price-performance ratio. Thanks to the additional KCL container, it is particularly practical when the sensor is not in continuous use, needs occasional refreshing, or is stored for longer periods.

The ceramic diaphragm and polymerized KCl solid electrolyte make this sensor a suitable solution for many standard applications in water analysis. The proven JUMO reference system also helps ensure that the electrolyte remains silver-ion-free over its service life and is less susceptible to certain electrode poisons.

Typical applications

With S8 Pg13.5 screw head and 120 mm immersion length, this ecoLine pH electrode is suitable for many common installation situations. An integrated temperature sensor is not available in this series. The included KCL container is a useful advantage when the electrode is only used occasionally or needs to be stored safely between uses.

Type suffixes

Type suffix Description
KCl container (quiver), model code 052

The base of the KCl container can also be used as a mounting wrench for pH or redox electrodes with a Pg13.5 thread. The recesses on the removable container base fit onto the hexagon of the electrode head. When storing the electrodes, the container must be filled with KCl (not with buffer solution or similar).

Salt reservoir, model code 837

Optionally, the electrode can be fitted with a salt reservoir in the form of four salt rings. This is recommended when using the electrode in media with low ion concentrations or at high flow rates. The salt reservoir serves to extend the service life of the electrode. The rings do not constitute a manufacturing defect (crystallisation).
