Product information "JUMO BlackLine ORP plastic shaft electrode with salt reservoir, 2 meter fixed cable with BNC connection and fixed protection cage, Pg13.5"
It is particularly suitable wherever a fixed installation with Pg13.5 thread, a direct BNC connection, and a robust, service-life-optimized redox measurement are required.
JUMO BlackLine Redox plastic shaft electrode with salt bridge, 2 meter fixed cable with BNC connector and fixed protective cage, Pg13.5 (Type code: 201010/65-22-65-2000-76-120/837; Part No.: 00424950)
This JUMO BlackLine Redox electrode is the right choice when a robust, permanently installable, and ready-to-connect solution for redox measurements in aqueous media is required. The Pg13.5 screw head allows secure installation in suitable fittings or measurement points, while the pre-attached 2 meter fixed cable with BNC connector enables direct connection to compatible measuring instruments. This makes this version especially convenient for users who want a reliable redox electrode without additional wiring effort.
Advantages
For redox measurement, the electrode is equipped with a robust platinum tip, which provides reliable measurement values and is easy to clean. This is a clear advantage in applications where redox values must be monitored regularly. The fixed protective cage additionally protects the sensitive sensor area and improves suitability for everyday use, especially at measurement points where the sensor may be exposed to higher mechanical stress.
Another advantage is the integrated salt bridge. It is particularly useful when measuring in low-ion media or at higher flow rates. In such cases, it can help extend the electrode’s service life. This makes it a strong choice for users who are looking for more than a standard redox electrode and need a version suitable for more demanding operating conditions.
Technical data
The reference system with polymerized KCl gel electrolyte is suitable for many general water applications. The proven cartridge reference system helps keep the electrolyte free of silver ions throughout its service life, making it less susceptible to certain electrode poisons. An integrated temperature sensor is not available in this series. The 120 mm insertion length makes the electrode suitable for many common installation situations.
Typical applications

Type suffixes
| Type suffix | Description |
|---|---|
| KCl container (quiver), model code 052 |
The base of the KCl container can also be used as a mounting wrench for pH or redox electrodes with a Pg13.5 thread. The recesses on the removable container base fit onto the hexagon of the electrode head. When storing the electrodes, the container must be filled with KCl (not with buffer solution or similar). |
| Salt reservoir, model code 837 |
Optionally, the electrode can be fitted with a salt reservoir in the form of four salt rings. This is recommended when using the electrode in media with low ion concentrations or at high flow rates. The salt reservoir serves to extend the service life of the electrode. The rings do not constitute a manufacturing defect (crystallisation). |
