The Duroval 1 drop = 1 °KH drop-counting titration test is a kit for manually determining the carbonate hardness in water samples. Each drop of the titrant corresponds to 1 degree of German carbonate hardness, which makes the results particularly easy to interpret and understand.
Titration kit for determining carbonate hardnessWith the Duroval test, you carry out the measurement directly in the water sample. By adding 1 drop of Duroval to the water sample, the endpoint becomes visible as soon as the colour changes. The number of drops used corresponds directly to the hardness value in °KH.
The titration kit is only suitable for rapid carbonate hardness measurements in drinking and process water, not for automated online measurement systems or other measurement parameters.
