Product information "JUMO MIDAS C08"
Pressure transmitter from JUMO for relative pressure 0 to 40 bar at the input and 4 – 20 mA output signal with G ¼ DIN EN 837 process connection
JUMO MIDAS C08 – OEM pressure transmitter Basic Type: 401002/000-462-405-502-20-601-61/000
This OEM pressure transmitter is designed for higher relative pressure ranges. With a 4–20 mA output, robust stainless steel construction, and high stability, it is suitable for industrial applications with increased pressure loads in mechanical engineering, hydraulics, and plant engineering.
The JUMO MIDAS C08 in the 40 bar version is designed for applications where significantly higher relative pressures must be measured reliably. This variant covers the range from 0 to 40 bar relative pressure and therefore extends the use of the MIDAS series towards higher-loaded pressure systems. The output signal is provided as 4 to 20 mA in a two-wire configuration and enables direct and interference-resistant integration into industrial control and evaluation systems.

- Material of seal: CrNi (stainless steel)
- Electrical connection: Connector DIN EN 175301-803, Form A
Advantages and technical features of the JUMO pressure transmitter
- Extended measuring range up to 40 bar for higher pressure applications
- Stable long-term measurement due to < 0.2 % drift
- Suitable for gaseous and liquid media
- Robust industrial design with CrNi stainless steel
- High vibration resistance (2.5× industrial standard)
- Reliable under strong vibrations and dynamic loads
The signal acquisition is based on a ceramic sensor system designed for long-term stability and consistent signal quality. The specified long-term stability below 0.2 % ensures that reliable measurement values remain available even over extended operating periods without frequent recalibration.
Due to the extended measuring range, this variant is particularly suitable for applications in which higher system pressures occur or pressure peaks must be detected reliably. The pressure transmitter is designed for gaseous and liquid media and can therefore be used in various technical environments.
The temperature compensation range from -20 to +100 °C helps to ensure that the measurement values remain stable even under changing ambient conditions. This also makes the device suitable for applications with fluctuating thermal influences.
Mechanically, the design is intended for industrial requirements. The G 1/4 process connection according to DIN EN 837 ensures standardized and secure integration into existing systems. The wetted parts are made of CrNi stainless steel, supporting high resistance to industrial media.
Typical areas of application
- Mechanical and plant engineering with higher operating pressures
- Compressors and compressed air systems
- Industrial hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Building technology with increased pressure requirements
- Commercial vehicles and mobile hydraulics
