Product information "JUMO ecoLine pH plastic shaft electrode, S8 Pg13.5 screw head with slip-on protection basket"
This electrode is resistant thanks to its PEI plastic shaft and offers easy handling. For this reason, it is low-maintenance and protected against damage due to its design.
JUMO ecoLine pH plastic shaft electrode with S8 Pg13.5 screw head and attachable protective cage (201005/53-18-22-0000-00-120/000; Part No. 00357022)
The JUMO ecoLine pH plastic shaft electrode is a practical solution for reliable pH measurements in general aqueous media. It combines a good price-performance ratio with a robust design and is especially suitable for applications where the sensor needs additional protection during mobile use.
The PEI plastic shaft provides a durable construction, while the attachable protective cage offers additional protection for the sensor. This is a particular advantage when used with portable measuring devices, making everyday handling easier and helping to prevent damage.
Typical applications
Equipped with an S8 Pg13.5 screw head and a standard insertion length of 120 mm, this electrode uses a polymerized KCl gel electrolyte reference system, which is well suited for measurements in general aqueous media. The proven JUMO cartridge reference system helps keep the electrolyte free of silver ions throughout its service life, making it less susceptible to certain electrode poisons. An integrated temperature sensor is not available in this series.

Type suffixes
| Type suffix | Description |
|---|---|
| KCl container (quiver), model code 052 |
The base of the KCl container can also be used as a mounting wrench for pH or redox electrodes with a Pg13.5 thread. The recesses on the removable container base fit onto the hexagon of the electrode head. When storing the electrodes, the container must be filled with KCl (not with buffer solution or similar). |
| Salt reservoir, model code 837 |
Optionally, the electrode can be fitted with a salt reservoir in the form of four salt rings. This is recommended when using the electrode in media with low ion concentrations or at high flow rates. The salt reservoir serves to extend the service life of the electrode. The rings do not constitute a manufacturing defect (crystallisation). |
