JUMO miroTRON – electronic thermostat (Type: 701080/0-01-23-02/000)

The Jumo thermostat is characterized by easy setup, parameter transfer, and reading of device data. It can also be expanded with an optional PID two-point controller.

The electronic thermostat JUMO miroTRON is designed for use as a heating or cooling thermostat and is ideal for industrial applications where reliable temperature monitoring is required.

In this version, the device features an input for resistance thermometers (Pt100 or Pt1000 in a two-wire circuit) as well as an additional digital input for connecting a potential-free contact.

The recorded process values and parameters are clearly displayed on two easy-to-read 18-segment LCD displays. Additional display elements provide information at all times about the status of the outputs, active functions, and the selected temperature unit.

Operation is intuitive via a membrane keypad with four buttons. Supporting texts in multiple languages (German, English, French, Spanish) simplify parameterization and configuration during daily use.

Functions and capabilities

The thermostat can optionally be expanded with a PID two-point controller. In this case, various controller structures such as P, PI, or PID are available, including self-optimization for automatic adaptation to the control loop.

The device also offers extensive monitoring and control functions:

  • Limit value monitoring with multiple configurable alarm functions
  • Timer function for time-controlled processes
  • Service counter for monitoring switching cycles or operating times

USB interface & configuration of the JUMO miroTRON

Via the integrated USB interface (Micro-B), the thermostat can be directly connected to a PC. Configuration is conveniently carried out using the optional setup program. No separate power supply is required during parameterization (USB-powered).

The setup program also enables:

  • Easy creation and transfer of parameters
  • Reading of device data
  • Support during commissioning (start-up function)
