Product information "Push-in resistance thermometer with straight connection cable, stainless steel protection tube"

JUMO insertion resistance thermometer with operating temperature range from -50 to +400 °C and installation length of 1500 mm

JUMO insertion resistance thermometer with straight connecting cable and stainless steel protection tube Type: 902150/10-402-1003-1-6-50-11-1500/317

This insertion resistance thermometer is suitable for compact measuring points with an extended temperature range. With Pt100 in two-wire configuration, 50 mm installation length and a 1500 mm metal braided connecting cable, this version is designed for reliable temperature measurements up to +400 °C.

This version is therefore intended for measuring points where the sensor should not be immersed deeply into the medium, while higher temperatures still need to be measured safely. With a 50 mm installation length and a 1500 mm long connecting cable, this JUMO insertion resistance thermometer is particularly suitable for compact installation situations where a short to medium connection distance is sufficient.

A Pt100 in two-wire configuration is used for temperature measurement. This version belongs to the proven standard solutions for many classic temperature measurement tasks. The operating range from -50 to +400 °C makes this variant particularly interesting wherever higher temperatures occur and a robust connection solution is required.

Advantages and technical features of this version of the JUMO resistance thermometer

  • suitable for higher temperatures up to +400 °C
  • compact installation length of 50 mm for short immersion depths
  • metal braided cable for robust operating conditions
  • shielded connecting cable for reliable signal transmission
  • robust design for technical applications in industrial environments

An important feature of this version is the metal braided connecting cable. It is designed for higher temperature ranges and at the same time provides a durable solution for everyday industrial use. Together with the shielded connecting cable, this variant is well suited for applications where signal transmission should remain as reliable as possible.

The cable length has also been selected with practical use in mind. At 1500 mm, the cable is long enough for many typical installation situations without creating unnecessary excess cable. This can be an advantage especially in compact devices, apparatuses, or plant sections where the sensor and connection point are not far apart.

The stainless steel protection tube additionally ensures a robust design. This makes the thermometer suitable for many technical measuring tasks in liquid and gaseous media. The installation length of 50 mm is not intended for protection tube diameters below 6 mm and this should be considered when selecting the appropriate version.

Typical Areas of Application

  • compact measuring points with increased thermal load
  • apparatuses and technical assemblies with short immersion depth
  • temperature monitoring in liquid and gaseous media
  • plant sections with short to medium connection distances
  • applications where a robust metal braided cable is beneficial
  • technical measuring points in dry and humid environments

JUMO order code:

A JUMO order code uniquely identifies a specific measuring instrument or component based on its configuration.

You will find the exact JUMO order code for your instrument configuration in the relevant data sheet from page 5 onwards. This can be found under ‘Downloads’ for the product.

Frequently Asked Questions

The insertion depth depends on the model—e.g., 45 mm, 50 mm, or 60 mm.

The temperature range varies depending on the version. For example, the thermometer with part number 802051 measures temperatures from -50°C to +400°C, making it suitable for higher temperature ranges as well.

Yes; thanks to its short installation lengths of 45 mm, 50 mm, and 60 mm, it can be installed even where space is limited.

Yes, it is designed for temperature measurement in both liquid and gaseous media.

The connecting cable is 1.5 meters or 2.5 meters long, making it suitable for many typical installation scenarios.

The metal braid protects the cable during daily use and is suitable for higher temperatures.

Yes; the robust design, featuring a stainless steel protective tube, was developed for technical and industrial applications.

The shielding ensures reliable transmission of the measurement signal, even in technical environments.
