Product information "Testomat 2000® CLT"
The Testomat 2000® CLT from Heyl continuously monitors the total chlorine (CLT) content in the range of 0–2.5 mg/l (ppm) and can be switched to free chlorine in the same range if required. The wet chemical measurement method produces a color change in the sample, the intensity of which is measured photometrically to provide accurate, reliable readings. Due to the high reactivity of reagent C in determining the total chlorine content, it is not possible to measure free chlorine and total chlorine simultaneously. Residues of reagent C would influence the measurement of free chlorine.

Why is measuring free and total chlorine so important?
