Product information "DUROVAL® Sulfate"
The DUROVAL® Sulphate Test Kit is a titration kit for determining the sulphate content in water, containing all the necessary reagents and accessories.
The Duroval Sulphate SO4 Titration Kit is a complete measurement kit for determining the sulphate content in water. Using the pipette and chemical reagents provided, you can measure the sulphate content of water samples directly on site.
Easy-to-use test kit for sulphate in water
The supplied titration pipette is calibrated for 0–300 mg/l SO42-. By refilling the titration pipette, the measuring range can be extended to double the concentration, and by diluting the water sample with distilled water, to ten times the concentration. The kit contains everything needed for approx. 30 analyses and provides a measurement accuracy of 10 mg/l SO42- for a standard sample. At a 1:10 dilution, the accuracy is 100 mg/l SO42-.

Why is sulphate measurement important?
In excessive concentrations, sulphate can impair technical equipment, cause deposits or alter the taste of water. This kit allows you to determine the sulphate content. The colour change during titration clearly indicates the endpoint, making the measurement quick and easy to understand.

Reagent A is part of the chemical mixture which, together with other components, enables the sulphate content in water to be measured. The Duroval Sulphate SO₄ Reagent A Refill Pack contains two bottles, each containing 50 ml of chemical reagent A. This is used for sulphate determination with the Duroval SO₄ titration kit. Reagent A is a component of the chemical reagent mixture which, together with other components, enables the determination of the sulphate content in water. Reagent required for sulphate measurement (h3) Reagent A is a component of the chemical composition in the Duroval Sulphate Test Kit. It is used together with the other reagents and the titration solution to make a small chemical reaction visible in the test. This refill pack allows the kit to be made ready for use again. It is only suitable for measurements using the appropriate Duroval sulphate titration kit. Measurements cannot be carried out without this kit. Why is it useful to top up Reagent A? (h3) In order to identify the endpoint of the measurement, several chemical components are required to react together. DUROVAL® Sulphate SO4 Reagent B Refill Pack. This is compatible with the DUROVAL® Sulphate titration kit for determining the sulphate content in water. Refill pack: 1 bottle containing 8 ml. DUROVAL® Sulphate SO4 Reagent B The Duroval Sulphate SO4 Reagent B refill pack contains an 8 ml bottle of chemical reagent B, which is required for measuring sulphate in water in conjunction with the other chemicals in the Duroval Sulphate kit. Without this reagent, the test cannot be carried out in full, as an important component of the chemical reaction would be missing. Refill pack for sulphate water analysis Reagent B is a key component of the chemical solution used in the Duroval SO4 test kit to make the sulphate content visible. When combined with the other components, it produces a colour reaction that indicates the amount of sulphate present in the water. The refill pack can only be used in combination with the Duroval SO4 test kit; it is not suitable for measurements without this kit. Why is Reagent B important? Several reagents work together in a chemical sulphate measurement to ensure the reaction proceeds correctly.
