To accurately calibrate and maintain the HORIBA LAQUAtwin Pocket Testers, HORIBA provides a special selection of buffer, calibration and standard solutions.

A convenient pack size of 6 x 14 ml of these solutions meets the requirements of the pocket testers as only a few drops are needed for calibration. This specific pack size helps to reduce waste and optimize efficiency during regular calibrations.

The solutions available cover a variety of measurement ranges, allowing users to select the appropriate solution to suit their individual analysis or measurement needs:

pH buffer solutions: Solutions with pH values of 4.01 or 7.00 are available to calibrate the pH measurement. With these buffers it is possible to precisely regulate and control the pH measurement function of the LAQUAtwin Pocket Tester.

Conductivity standard solutions: 1413 μS/cm standard solutions ensure that the conductivity measurement of your devices is carried out precisely.

NaCl standard solutions: 0.5% or 5.0% NaCl solutions are available for the calibration of salinity measurement.

Ion standard solutions: HORIBA provides standard solutions to calibrate ion selective measurements. HORIBA provides standard solutions for sodium, potassium, nitrate and calcium, available in different concentrations: from low (e.g. 150 ppm) to high concentrations (e.g. 5000 ppm).

Fluoride ion standard solutions: For the calibration of fluoride measurements, HORIBA offers standard solutions with concentrations of 1 ppm and 10 ppm.

TISAB solution: A special solution for use with fluoride ion standard solutions to adjust the ionic strength of the sample for precise fluoride measurements.

ORP standard solution: For the calibration of redox measurements (ORP), HORIBA offers a solution with a redox potential of 225 mV.

With these special solutions, the HORIBA LAQUAtwin pocket testers always provide accurate and reliable measurement results. The integrity of their measurement data and the lifetime of their devices can be ensured by regular calibration with these specifically formulated solutions. It is of great importance to select the appropriate calibration solution and standard solution to maintain the accuracy of measurements and ensure the reliability of water quality measurements in various applications.
