Product information "JUMO BlackLine ORP plastic shaft electrode with salt reservoir, 2 meter fixed cable without thread with BNC connection and fixed protection cage"
It is particularly useful wherever a robust, ready-to-connect, and service-life-optimized redox measurement is required, for example in drinking water monitoring or aquatics.
JUMO BlackLine Redox plastic shaft electrode with salt bridge, 2 meter fixed cable without thread with BNC connector and fixed protective cage (Type code: 201010/65-22-45-2000-76-120/837; Part No.: 00417301)
This version of the JUMO BlackLine Redox electrode is a good choice when a robust and ready-to-connect solution for redox measurement in aqueous media is required. Thanks to its permanently attached 2 meter cable with BNC connector, the sensor can be quickly integrated into suitable measurement systems without additional connection cables. This version offers clear advantages, especially in applications where simple installation, a protected sensor design, and easy day-to-day handling are important.
Advantages of the JUMO BlackLine electrode
For redox measurement, a robust platinum tip is used, which provides reliable measurement values and is easy to clean. This makes the electrode particularly interesting for users who require a sensor for regular measurement tasks while valuing a low-maintenance design. The integrated protective cage additionally protects the sensitive sensor area and is especially useful when the electrode is frequently used, moved, or exposed to more demanding environments.
Another advantage of this version is the integrated salt bridge. It is particularly recommended for low-ion media or higher flow rates, as it can help extend the electrode’s service life. This makes it a strong choice for users who are not only looking for a standard redox electrode but for a version suitable for more challenging operating conditions.
Technical data
The reference system with polymerized KCl gel electrolyte is suitable for many general water applications and supports reliable measurement in aqueous media. An integrated temperature sensor is not available in this series. With a standard insertion length of 120 mm and a head design without thread, this version is particularly suitable for applications where direct cable connection via BNC connector is preferred.

Type suffixes
| Type suffix | Description |
|---|---|
| KCl container (quiver), model code 052 |
The base of the KCl container can also be used as a mounting wrench for pH or redox electrodes with a Pg13.5 thread. The recesses on the removable container base fit onto the hexagon of the electrode head. When storing the electrodes, the container must be filled with KCl (not with buffer solution or similar). |
| Salt reservoir, model code 837 |
Optionally, the electrode can be fitted with a salt reservoir in the form of four salt rings. This is recommended when using the electrode in media with low ion concentrations or at high flow rates. The salt reservoir serves to extend the service life of the electrode. The rings do not constitute a manufacturing defect (crystallisation). |
