This version is intended for measuring points that need to operate reliably not only indoors but also in more demanding environments. The major advantage of this version lies in its higher protection class. IP65 makes it particularly suitable for installation locations where the housing needs better protection against dust and water jets. This makes it well suited for measuring points exposed to greater daily demands or technically more challenging environments than classic room sensors.
A Pt100 sensor in two-wire configuration is used for temperature measurement. This proven version is suitable for many common temperature measurement tasks in HVAC applications. Since no transmitter is integrated, this variant is especially useful where the sensor should be connected directly to a suitable control or evaluation unit.
The measuring range from -50 to +90 °C further extends the possible applications. This makes the version suitable not only for typical indoor temperatures but also for cooler or warmer environments as found in outdoor areas or air ducts.
