The main difference compared to simpler indoor variants is the more robust protection class. IP54 makes this version suitable for installation locations where dust or splash water may be present. A Pt100 sensor in two-wire configuration is used for temperature measurement. This is a proven solution for many classic measurement tasks in HVAC applications.
