Liquid Chemistry – Manual Test Kits: Parameter Carbonate Hardness (KH)
Measuring carbonate hardness (KH) is a key part of water analysis, especially in drinking water treatment, aquatics, heating systems, and monitoring of cooling or boiler water. Carbonate hardness directly influences the pH level and buffering capacity of water.
Typical areas of application:
• Drinking and domestic water analysis
• Aquariums and garden ponds
• Monitoring of heating and boiler water
• Water treatment systems
