The Testomat 2000 THCL® from Heyl reliably measures the total chlorine content in the range from 0 to 2.5 mg/l (ppm) according to the photometric analysis principle of the DPD method (N,N-diethyl-p-phenylenediamine). A chemical reaction produces a color change whose intensity precisely determines the chlorine concentration. In addition, the water hardness (measuring range: 0.25 - 2.50 °dH) is determined fully automatically by titration – ideal for continuous monitoring of process and service water or for protecting reverse osmosis membranes. The Testomat 2000® Antox is a special version of the Testomat 2000® with an additional pump for dosing a reducing agent. By adding this reducing agent in the already filled measuring chamber, the disturbance of oxidizing agents is eliminated.
