Surface-Mounted Resistance Thermometer with Pt100 and Tolerance Class B according to DIN EN 60751 with Temperature Range -50 to +260 °C
JUMO Surface-Mounted Resistance Thermometer with PTFE Connection Cable and Mounting Hole, Stainless Steel Protection Fitting, Type: 902550/11-386-1003-1-11-2500/000
The surface-mounted resistance thermometer is suitable for indirect temperature measurement on pipes and other surfaces. Equipped with a Pt100 in a two-wire circuit, PTFE connection cable and robust stainless steel design, this version is especially suitable for quickly mounted surface measurements from -50 to +260 °C.
This version is intended for temperature measurements on surfaces where the sensor is mounted externally and the measuring point should not be mechanically modified. The surface-mounted resistance thermometer is therefore particularly suitable for closed pipe systems as well as round or flat surfaces where temperatures need to be recorded quickly and easily.

Advantages and Technical Features of the Surface-Mounted Resistance Thermometer
- no mechanical processing of the measuring point required
- well suited for closed pipe systems
- fast and uncomplicated installation
- indirect temperature measurement without direct contact with the medium
- PTFE connection cable for temperatures up to +260 °C
- practical solution for retrofittable surface measurements
Unlike insertion or screw-in solutions, the measurement is performed indirectly via the surface. This is particularly useful where no modifications to the system are desired or where the temperature needs to be recorded without contact with the medium. Installation can be carried out using tension bands or hose clamps and is therefore simple to implement.
A Pt100 in a two-wire circuit is used for temperature measurement. Combined with the PTFE connection cable, this version is designed for temperatures from -50 to +260 °C. This also makes it suitable for applications where higher temperatures occur on the surface. The 2500 mm long connection cable provides sufficient flexibility for integration into the system.
The stainless steel protection fitting makes this version particularly suitable for applications requiring a robust and durable design. At the same time, the construction ensures efficient heat transfer from the measuring point to the sensor. Due to the low thermal mass, the surface temperature can be measured quickly and reliably without flow, pressure or chemical influences from the medium directly affecting the measurement.
In the case of larger temperature differences between the measured medium and the surrounding environment, it should be noted that these may affect the measurement result. In such cases, additional insulation may be beneficial. Thermal paste can also optionally be used to further improve heat transfer at the measuring point.
Typical Applications
- surface measurement on closed pipe systems
- temperature measurement on round pipes
- temperature measurement on flat components
- retrofitting existing systems
