The cabinet contains a GRP pressure bottle filled with high-quality ion exchange resin. The cabinet housing also serves as a container for regeneration salt for the production of brine (saline solution) and can hold a maximum of 40 kg of salt. The GRP pressure bottle is equipped with a Clack WS 1 CI water-controlled valve, which completes the system. The control valve is equipped with an easy-to-use microprocessor-controlled control system that is operated via five buttons. The multi-function display with status indicator is compatible with metric and American units. CLACK WS 1 CI is made of fibre-reinforced plastic and offers a modular, robust material without screws. The front can be easily removed thanks to a click system, which makes maintenance simple. Forced regeneration prevents system contamination Forced regeneration starts automatically on the tenth day of system inactivity. This prevents contamination in the resin bed. This forced regeneration is a form of safety regeneration and only takes place if no regeneration has occurred due to quantity control, for example during holidays. Salt filling of the water softener Depending on water hardness and consumption, one salt filling lasts for approximately 3 to 4 months; after that, new salt must be added.
