The Testomat LAB TH and the Testomat LAB TH-R (Remote) are fully automatic online analyzers for the precise determination of residual total hardness in water using automated titration. The device provides continuous, reliable measurement results in the range of 0.0525 °dH. The instruments were developed for use in multiparameter systems and for connection to higher-level control systems.

High-precision titrimetric hardness determination with data logging

The Testomat LAB TH combines high measurement accuracy with easy integration into existing measurement and automation concepts. Automatic titration using a piston dosing pump enables continuous, low-maintenance acquisition of water hardness values. All measurement data are logged in a structured format on an integrated SD card or optionally on an SDHC card. The standard interfaces 4–20 mA and RS232 allow direct data transfer to higher-level control and process control systems.

Measuring principle & measuring range

Titration by means of color change using a piston metering pump for precise analysis of total hardness in the range of 0.05-25 °dH (or 0.89-448 ppm), depending on the indicator used.

256x64 2,8", yellowFeatures: When the device is switched on with the display plugged in, the installed software version is displayed during the boot process. This  allows you to visually check the current software version after a software update. After a measurement has been completed, the measurement result is  shown in the selected display unit. The display value is retained until the end of the next measurement and is then updated to the new measured value. If a fault occurs during the last measurement, the display shows “xx x x x selected display unit”. If it is a temporary fault, the Alarm function key flashes at the same time (see Temporary faults in the manual). In this case, the device will start a new measurement once the programmed analysis interval has expired. If the error is still present, the indication on the display remains and  the Alarm function key remains illuminated. In this case, no further measurements are made during programmed analysis interval and the device switches to standby mode. If the fault is no longer present, the measurement result is shown on the display once the measurement has been completed and the device switches back to normal operating mode.

In view of the fact that the Testomat® LAB TH total water hardness analysers were developed for use in multi-parameter systems or for connection to a higher-level control system, we hereby offer you both Testomat® LAB TH analysis devices in combination with the NeoTecMaster®, which was specially developed by our company, as a complete solution at a preferential price. The 4-channel NeoTecMaster® multi-parameter controller included in this package enables the processing of up to four measurement signals in this version. A signal input on the NeoTecMaster® , in this case the RS232 interface and one additional RS232 interface on the included NeoTec Slave module , are used by both Testomat® LAB TH to display the measured values, the trend and the status messages on the 5 inch screen.
