Testomat 2000 – Precise water hardness measurement 

The Testomat® LAB TH devices determines the water hardness (residual total hardness) fully automatically by use of titration and has been developed for monitoring the water quality of water treatment plants, drinking water plants, industrial boilers and for monitoring process water, here in a package for monitoring two measuring points. In view of the fact that the Testomat® LAB TH total water hardness analysers were developed for use in multi-parameter systems or for connection to a higher-level control system, we hereby offer you both Testomat® LAB TH analysis devices in combination with the NeoTecMaster®, which was specially developed by our company, as a complete solution at a preferential price. The 4-channel NeoTecMaster® multi-parameter controller included in this package enables the processing of up to four measurement signals in this version. A signal input on the NeoTecMaster® , in this case the RS232 interface and one additional RS232 interface on the included NeoTec Slave module , are used by both Testomat® LAB TH to display the measured values, the trend and the status messages on the 5 inch screen. In addition to the on board RS232 interface, the NeoTecMaster® also has a Modbus RTU input, which you can use freely after brief technical consultation with us. The NeoTecMaster® can be systematically supplemented with further optional NeoTec modules (function / signal converter modules) as required, thus enabling the future realisation of further control concepts in a flexible manner. The Testomat 2000® Antox is a special version of the Testomat 2000® with an additional pump for dosing a reducing agent. By adding this reducing agent in the already filled measuring chamber, the disturbance of oxidizing agents is eliminated. The Testomat 2000® CLT from Heyl continuously monitors the total chlorine (CLT) content in the range of 0–2.5 mg/l (ppm) and can be switched to free chlorine in the same range if required. The wet chemical measurement method produces a color change in the sample, the intensity of which is measured photometrically to provide accurate, reliable readings. Due to the high reactivity of reagent C in determining the total chlorine content, it is not possible to measure free chlorine and total chlorine simultaneously. Residues of reagent C would influence the measurement of free chlorine. The Testomat 2000® PO4 from Heyl reliably and continuously monitors the orthophosphate content in the range from 0 to 10.0 mg/l (ppm). The analysis method is based on the molybdate blue method. This involves a chemical reaction that produces a characteristic steel blue color change in the sample. The color intensity is evaluated photometrically. The Testomat 2000® Self clean is a special version of the Testomat 2000® with an additional dosing pump for dosing a a cleaning solution after analysis. It can be used to remove pollution of the measuring chamber and the drain hose. After the set number of analyzes, the measuring chamber is rinsed and then the Testomat 2000® Self clean cleaning solution is added to the water in the measuring chamber. After 30 seconds reaction time, the measuring chamber content is drained. The Testomat® LAB CL is a robust wet chemical online measuring converter to measure the concentration of total chlorine or free chlorine in the measuring range 0 - 5 mg/l. The instrument is suitable for controlling the water quality of water treatment plants, drinking water plants, process water monitoring and for monitoring the chlorine concentration in the cooling tower process. Instrument operation is based on the DPD method according to EN ISO 7393-2.
