Surface-Mounted Resistance Thermometer with Pt100 and Tolerance Class B according to DIN EN 60751 with Temperature Range -50 to +260 °C
JUMO Surface-Mounted Resistance Thermometer with PTFE Connection Cable, Aluminium Protection Fitting (25 x 50 mm), Type: 902550/30-378-1003-1-11-2500/315
This version of the thermometer from JUMO is suitable for indirect temperature measurement on pipes and other surfaces. Equipped with a Pt100 in a two-wire circuit, PTFE connection cable and bend protection spring, this version is especially suitable for quickly mounted surface measurements from -50 to +260 °C.
This version is intended for surface measurements where the temperature should be recorded quickly and without interfering with the system. The surface-mounted resistance thermometer is mounted externally at the measuring point and is therefore particularly suitable for closed pipe systems as well as flat or round surfaces.

Advantages and Technical Features of the Surface-Mounted Resistance Thermometer
- temperature measurement without interfering with the system
- aluminium protection fitting 25 x 50 mm for efficient heat transfer
- fast and uncomplicated surface installation
- well suited for round and flat measuring points
- bend protection spring for additional cable transition protection
The aluminium protection fitting in the size 25 x 50 mm makes this version particularly interesting where efficient heat transfer and a compact contact surface are required. Aluminium supports rapid detection of surface temperature, while the low thermal mass helps the measurement respond quickly to temperature changes.
Temperature measurement is carried out using a 1× Pt100 in a two-wire circuit. Combined with the PTFE connection cable, this version is designed for temperatures from -50 to +260 °C. This makes it suitable for applications where higher surface temperatures may also occur. The 2500 mm long connection cable provides sufficient flexibility for installation and connection to the evaluation system.
A practical advantage of this version is its simple installation. Mounting can be carried out using tension bands or hose clamps, eliminating the need for mechanical processing of the measuring point. This is especially helpful for existing systems or retrofitted measuring points. The type extension with bend protection spring additionally protects the cable transition and makes the design more robust for daily use.
Since the temperature is measured indirectly via the surface, the measurement remains unaffected by pressure, flow conditions or chemical influences in the medium. In cases of larger temperature differences between the medium and the surrounding environment, additional insulation may be beneficial. Thermal paste can also optionally be used to further improve heat transfer.
Typical Applications
- surface measurement on closed pipe systems
- temperature detection on flat metal surfaces
- applications with retrofittable measuring points
- technical systems without direct contact with the medium
